Setting Modem Smartfren Huawei EC1261-2 di Linux

Kali ini kita akan membahas tentang Modem Smartfren Huawei EC1261-2 yang kita Gunakan pada OS Linux..

emang pertama kali aku cilokin jg ga ke detect di linux. Tp tenang aja, Ada jalan menuju Roma.

oke next..

Agar Modem Smartfrenya conect ke kompi/lepi kita. Maka Kita harus mendownload 2 file doloe :

1. Download usb-modeswitch-data install dg klik 2X ato ketik di terminal :

jincorn@jncorn-r00t~$ sudo dpkg -i usb-modeswitch-data_20100826-1+squeeze0_all.deb

2. Download usb-modeswitch install dg klik 2X ato ketik di terminal :

jincorn@jncorn-r00t~$ sudo dpkg -i usb-modeswitch_1.1.4-2_i386.deb

@ biasanya yang pake intel maka *i386.

Setelah itu cek apakah modem ke detect ato tidak dari terminal :

jincorn@jncorn-r00t~$ lsusb

ntrar Hasile ini lihat nomernya adalah 12d1:1505

Then..

cari file 12d1:1505 di direktory /etc/usb_modeswitch.d/

kalau ga ada di buat aja truz di edit :

jincorn@jncorn-r00t~$ sudo gedit /etc/usb_modeswitch.d/12d1:1505

kalau dah kebuka maka isi dg script ini :

DefaultVendor= 0x12d1

DefaultProduct=0×1505

TargetVendor= 0x12d1

TargetProductList=”1001,1406,140b,140c,1412,141b,14ac”

CheckSuccess=20

Save and Close..

kemudian tambahkan ke dalam file /lib/udev/rules.d/40-usb_modeswitch.rules, untuk edit nya ketik perintah ini :

jincorn@jncorn-r00t~$ sudo gedit /lib/udev/rules.d/40-usb_modeswitch.rules

Sciript ini di taruh setelah “LABEL=”modeswitch_rules_begin”

ATTRS{idVendor}==”12d1″, ATTRS{idProduct}==”1505″, RUN+=”usb_modeswitch ‘%b/%k’”

@Script di atas membuat modem otomatis ke detect ketika di colokan.

Langkah Terakhirnya adalah ketikan di terminal :

jincorn@jncorn-r00t~$ sudo usb_modeswitch -c /etc/usb_modeswitch.d/12d1:1505

Biasanya langsung ke detect. kl Ga ya di restart doloe ya kang.

hehe…

Disini untuk konekinya bisa pake wvdial ato mobile partner untuk ubuntu. Aku pake Mobile partner. gampang ko install nya.

Download Mobile partner huawei
truz Extrax aja
masuk ke directory nya

jincorn@jncorn-r00t~$ cd Mobile partner huawei

setelah itu ketik lagi [ Harus menjadi root dl] :

jincorn@jncorn-r00t~$ bash install

tunggu ampe slsai dah..

untuk mempercantik dektop kaya punyaku [peace] maka kita butuh conky juga bro.

Unt Instalasinya gampang ko. langsung praktek ja bro.

Download doloe conky nya :

truz langsung aja extract :

unzip 137503-conky_orange.zip

Ntar keluar dah tu folder “conky_orange”.

setelah itu kita buat folder .conky di Home kita :

mkdir .conky

setelah itu kita copy isi dari folder “conky_orange” ke folder “.conky” yg barusan di buat.

cp -Rf /home/jincorn/conky_orange/* /home/jincorn/.conky/

Sekarang coba jalankan doloe conky nya

#killall conky

#conky -c ~/.conky/conkyrc_orange

congratulations for you. Akhirnya muncul jg kan.

Searang permasalahanya adalah kita harus meletakan conky tersebut di Startup Application biar kalo nyala itu Langsung Otomatis berjalan Gitu.

langsung aja kita buat doloe file :

Buatlah file “.conkystart.sh” dan isikan script berikut :

#!/bin/bash
sleep 15 && conky -c ~/.conky/conkyrc_orange

Save dan kemudian Ubah permissinya karena bentuknya Bash file :

chmod +x .conkystart.sh

Coba LogOut dan masuk kembali

sebenarnya tadi baca masalah eSQO, tapi karena lom terlalu paham ya sudah ga jadi di post disni..

langsung aja ya :

wget themanya dari terminal :

wget https://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/macbuntu/macbuntu-10.10/v2.3/Macbuntu-10.10.tar.gz

setelah itu extraxt aja :

tar xzvf Macbuntu-10.10.tar.gz

setelah di ekstract masuk aja ke dir nya :

cd Macbuntu-10.10

setelah itu :

./install.sh

NB : Bisa juga langsung masuk dir nya dari anutilus truz langsung klik aja “install.sh”
